Sydney West Tennis Trials – Trial 2

• Students can only nominate to attend these trials through their school sports coordinator. Schools have been sent more information with the link to register. 
• Nominations outside of this process will not be accepted.
• Applications Close on Wednesday 26 February.
• This trial is for the following Zones only – Blacktown, Seven Hills/Wenty, Mount Druitt and Ridges.
• Please note that the process of selection to attend the Combined Zone Tennis trial has recently changed, with the introduction of a new ‘three stage’ process.
  • Stage 1 – Students submit an ‘Application to Trial’ form through the DASH platform. This application will require you to create a ‘Tennis Resume’, which will include, your playing experience, previous achievements, and your current playing level. Applications close on Wednesday 26 February.
  • Stage 2 – ‘Application to Trial’ forms will be assessed by Sydney West Tennis Convener and Zone staff, and ‘culled’ on the basis of information provided by students ‘Tennis Resume’. Players who meet the criteria to progress through to a physical trial (Stage 3) will be informed via email from the DASH portal and requested to confirm their participation in the physical trial (held on the Thursday 6 March, 2025).
  • Stage 3 – Players who accept their position to attend the physical trial will participate in the Zone Primary Tennis Trial 2 selection day on Thursday 6 March, 2025. At the conclusion of this day, selected players will be invited to attend the Final Sydney West PSSA Tennis Trial.
• Eligibility Prior to trialling, students must complete the online DASH registration, which they will receive from their School Sport Organiser.
• The online consent (DASH app) collects the following information;
  • Parent consent
  • Principal approval
  • Student details/medical history
  • Trial levy paymen
  • No DASH registration + No Payment = No Participation at the Association trial
