2026 SH/W PSSA Zone Team Sport Trials

Term 1 Week 5 of 2026 is the Seven Hills / Wentworthville PSSA zone team sport trials. 

Team sport trials will be for the following:

• AFL – Boys Team
• Football (Soccer) – Boy’s & Girl’s Team
• Netball – Girls Team
• Rugby League – U11/12 Boys
• Softball – Boy’s & Girl’s Team
• Touch Football – Boy’s & Girl’s Team
• Basketball – Boy’s & Girl’s Team

Who Can Nominate?

• Years 5 & 6 (2026): Year 5 & 6 students are eligible to nominate for all sports when they open.
• Year 4 (2026): Year 4 students are only eligible to be nominated for Softball & Touch Football only.

Eligibility & Requirements

• Only schools can nominate students to trial.
  • Each school may have their own process in which they nominate students to trial, so check with your school.
  • Nominations will be based history, school criteria and SH/W criteria.
  • No student will be eligible to trial without a completed and school-approved permission note.
  • Approved participating students must bring their permission note to the Zone Selection Trial Day.

Other Team Sport Trials will be coordinated by the Sydney West School Sport Association. 

Parents will need to register through the DASH Platform. Information can be found on the Sydney West School Sport Website.
